Heya,
Bowling and Nando's went well last Friday, nice group of people, really good to see people embracing bowling. The surveys showed that 66% found that the Bowling trip was very good. The only problem I found was that Nando's was way too hot. But other than that it was an enjoyable evening had by the people that came.
So a successful first event, the next event on the Young Health Lives Summer Calender is the Capoeria class which runs for six weeks, every Wednesday. Visit www.capoeiraworld.org where you can find pictures, videos and more information about the art that is capoeira. In case you didn't know all the Healthy Lives Youth Project events are 100% FREE.

The Youth Forum and the Healthy Lives Project.
Hello,
I am Matt, a member of the Youth Forum which takes place monthly in Selby Centre. The Youth Forum is part of Embrace UK which aims to help the disadvantaged community by providing advice, information and guidance (Click on the link for more information about Embrace UK on embraceuk.org).
The Youth Forum is a group of young people aged 11-25 who are sort of like a planning committee, and plan different events, training and helps young people develop different skills. The first event or more accurately series of events is The "Healthy Lives Summer Programme."
It has already started with bowling and Nando's trip, it then continues with the Capoeira class (which lasts for six weeks), trip to see a Movie, Sports Day, British Museum, Kew Gardens and a Sports Day.
If you would like any information about the Youth Forum or the Healthy Lives Summer Programme please contact Tom or Marisca at 0208 801 9224 or you can email them at yp@embraceuk.org
